Great start!! Excellent use of atmosphere, too–it’s as if the country is its own character, with its ambiance and even the weather all contributing to the story’s essence. As I read it, it’s playing out as a movie in my head. Nice work, Jon!!

I like what I read as usual from you Jon, I was worried when the passport was being reviewed but my guess is that Lawson can speak fluently in many languages.
