I just spent 3 long nights and one day being eaten alive by midges (think of a mosquitos smaller but far more violent cousin, nothing compares to the Scottish Midge!) working on a film. Went to bed around 5am this morning, which was the first time since 2pm on Wednesday (that’s 39 hours then). During the day I’d been up for about 24 when I had to do 7 200 meter sprints over rough woodland while a helicopter filmed me. After the first couple I had a tough time catching my breath for the next take. Did it though. My legs ache today and it was tricky. The long and short of it is that this has reinvigorated me for acting after last years big dissapointment. I was just an extra and stand in, spent most of the time sitting about doing nothing, but it reminded me where I’m supposed to be.

So I getcha dude. And if its what I think it is that’s frustrating you I totally understand. Be great when the hard craps done though!

…sometimes the only way to get motivated is to “do something else” to work through it… clean the house, clean the office, clean thyself… it’s funny how things pop up when you take your mind off of the things you really want.
